Abigail Samantha Bennett was born April 2 at 9:20 am at Magee-Womens Hospital. 21 hours of labor; birth weight was 6 lb 11 oz, length was 19 3/4 inches. I'll spare you all the details unless you REALLY want to hear them. :) Not posting pictures here; but if you want to see some, I will email them.

PITTSBURGH -- Myron Cope, the screechy-voiced announcer whose colorful catch phrases and twirling Terrible Towel became symbols of the Pittsburgh Steelers during an unrivaled 35 seasons in the broadcast booth, has died. He was 79.

Cope died Wednesday morning at a nursing home in Mount Lebanon, a Pittsburgh suburb, Joe Gordon, a former Steelers executive and a longtime friend of Cope's, told The Associated Press.

The church’s outrageous protest actions - the group prefers to picket funerals - have earned Phelps and his ilk much media coverage.

To date, the WBC’s protests have taken place in at least 22 states, and have inspired a wave of grassroots anger. As a result, 38 states have introduced bills to limit protests near funerals, and at least 29 of those states have passed such measures. Phelps has vowed to challenge the legislation, alleging that these new restrictions unconstitutionally restrict freedom of speech.

The time has come to turn the tables. Let us all gather in one place, at one time to (peacefully) show Phelps and his church that freedom of speech works both ways.

Ok, so I know I haven't posted anything in a REALLY long time (bad Amy, no cookie!), so here's what's been going on with me. Most of you already know this, but yes I am pregnant with number 2, we know what it is and have a name picked out, which I am not posting here because some oddball on my F-list doesn't want to know (don't quite understand that, but ok) :). Due date is April 5th according to my doctor (by my calculations that's roughly a week early). First and second trimesters sucked, third is slightly better. Baby shower in a couple of weeks, then just counting down the days until I pop (like I'm not already doing that LOL).

Well, after the delightful madness of the last few weeks, I can say that I am Officially. Worn. Out.

Hubby and I trekked up to Erie on Saturday for the second of 2 weddings, and stayed overnight (reception went until 11). Sunday, drove back, stopping for a few hours in Grove City to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Very good movie (not quite as good as the first of course), but still some amusing moments. For those that have seen it, I have one question: Was I the only one who thought "HAMSTER WHEEL!!!!!!!"? For those who have not seen it, why are you still sitting here reading this??????????? Go! Go straight to the nearest theater showing it. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.
